Flash - Motion Tweening
Ok welcome. This Tutorials will teach you how to use the motion tweening feature of Flash 4 and Flash 5. Motion Tweening is the automatic interpolation between 2 keyframes, used for moving objects or chaging their color or alpha over time. So ok here we go:
1. Step - Make a Symbol
First of all power up your Flash :)
Now press T to get the Text Tool and write some text onto the surface.
So now select the object and press F8 and a dialog will apear, just press enter.
Now your text is a symbol and you can drag it out of the library as often as you want and perform changings of Alpha, color and so on.
2. Step - set keyframes
Well the next step you have to do is to go to frame 20 and press F6 to make a keyframe there. Now take the Text with the Arrow Tool (press A) and drag it to another place in the scene. Go back to frame 1 in the timeline and notice how the text pops back in it's old position. Now select Insert/Create Motion Tween and voilą your Motion Tween is ready.
So ready :) For Flash 5 all is analog.
